Driving Lesson Prices
Before we get started, I’ll ask you to read through my Terms and Conditions, which are professionally drawn up and backed by the Driving Instructors Association.
I go through these with every new pupil — and if you’re under 18, I’ll include your parent or supporting adult in that conversation too.
When we meet for the first time, I’ll ask you to sign them off so we’re both clear and happy before lessons begin. You’ll keep a fully signed copy for your own records, and I’ll hold onto mine.
Learner Driver Lessons
Provisional Licence holder standard rate lessons are £40.00 per hour.
Please Note: 1 hour, single lessons are no longer available I am afraid due to increasing areas of lowered speed limits & much slower journeys & congestion.
1.5 hour lesson tailored to your needs & driving level

2hr lesson tailored to your needs & driving level
£80.00
Driving Test Day
Subject to terms, performance, driving standard in all elements & all 3 mock tests being passed, agreed use of my car & my time on practical test day is £120.00 as 3hrs of my time is taken up being with you throughout the whole test process & until we arrive back at your home or other finishing location as required before I can proceed onward to my next pupil.

* Please call me in advance if you wish to expressly cover all 6 parts of the existing Pass Plus syllabus material.
Full Licence holder refresher lessons
Full Licence holder refresher lessons, applicable Provisional Licence rate for more advanced level, rural, motorway, SMART motorway or higher mileage pre-practical test driver ready status all £50.00 per hour.
- 1.5hrs = £75.00. – no motorway.
- 2 hrs = £100.00. – Building up higher mileage, higher speed competency, more complex outer areas & safety. – no motorway.
- 2.5hrs = £125.00 – more rural & multiple areas & complex elements – no motorway.
- 3hrs – Total Session with fully assessed high standard pupils only.
(Combining different aspects including fully briefed & prepared high mileage rural, countryside, higher speed roads with national speed limit. Motorway/SMART Motorway tuition as Safe For Life Driving skill) * short comfort break factored in if necessary = £150.00.
